Shelley Perry

I am a landscape painter based in Bournemouth on the south coast. In 2024 I gave up my brushes and began painting with my hands. This has brought a wonderful liberating freedom to my work, providing a direct connection to the canvas. I am inspired by the incredible light and colours in nature which I capture through my own style- often identified by the use of bold, sometimes neon and often clashing colours. I am very interested in the link between art, particularly painting with your hands and its calming, wellbeing effects. I run children and adult classes locally in and around Dorset and Hampshire.
