Relaunch of Standard DVA Membership
30 May 2023
Dorset Visual Arts is pleased to announce the launch of a revised, expanded and inclusive Standard Membership offer, open to all artists living or working in Dorset.
For a special rate of £20 you not only receive the monthly newsletter and artist page on the DVA website, but there are now additional benefits to joining, including discounts, more news and updates on regional opportunities, and regional get togethers this summer so you can come along, hear our plans, and be part of the conversation. The offer lasts until October 2023, when the new Membership year starts.
Also be among the first to hear details about DVA’s involvement with Sherborne House, where DVA is the main Arts partner at this exciting project for the visual arts, including regular display, exhibition and retail call outs for DVA Members as well as other activity around the exhibition programme. The DVA website and social channels have been refreshed and we’ll be sharing more news and opportunities from around the region, as well as sharing your own news and announcements.
The relaunch will be phased over the next 18 months. From the launch of the new Membership year in November, there will be further benefits including new exhibition and event opportunities, and during 2024, DVA intends to introduce resources to support you in your creative practice and subject to funding, commission and residency programmes.
Dorset Art Weeks returns in 2024 from 25 May - 9 June with a revised and improved event, picking up from the 2020 plans and with a simplified application process, more marketing activity and improved resources for participants. Registrations will open at the start of November. Keep an eye on the DVA and DAW websites, and social channels, for details.
If you would like to join as a member please sign up here. More information and the full range of benefits can be found on our membership information page.
