DVA announces new partnership with the CRT

Dorset Visual Arts are pleased to announce our new partnership with the Countryside Regeneration Trust. We will be working closely with the team at Bere Marsh Farm to develop a series of arts and cultural activities in the area bringing together creativity, community and conservation.

This will create opportunities for artists to develop projects, exhibit work and engage with communities in the area.

The team recently had a site meeting at Bere Marsh Farm with Charlotte Weatherley, Farm Estate and Community Officer at Bere Marsh Farm where we heard more about the important work they do and how they are improving biodiversity in the countryside.

As part of this partnership the Threshing Barn at Bere Marsh Farm will provide an exciting venue for the Dorset Art Weeks headline commission, FLOW.  This opportunity, which saw artists applying through an open call, will see one artist producing a singular piece or body of work for installation and display in the Threshing Barn at Bere Marsh Farm, Shillingstone, North Dorset from Saturday 23 May - Sunday 7 June for Dorset Art Weeks 2026.

Our Creative Director, Paul shares “We are thrilled to be partnering with the Countryside Regeneration Trust on FLOW, our headline commission for Dorset Art Weeks. Their support will be invaluable, offering the commissioned artist an incredible chance to connect with conservation experts at Bere Marsh Farm, CRT and directly respond to this diverse landscape. We are always looking for new and inspiring places to showcase artistic talent in Dorset and the Threshing Barn at Bere Marsh Farm will provide a compelling and exciting venue for the final installation. This project has been made possible with support from Dorset Art Weeks headline Sponsor Hall & Woodhouse.”

More information coming soon on this exciting partnership.
