ARTIST OF THE MONTH - Our Artist of the Month for February is Dorset Visual Arts’ Member Sian Evans.
Sian Evans is a designer, goldsmith and lapidarist living and working in Dorset ‘These hardstones are semiprecious stone and native to Britain. They are collected from streams and fields rather than mined - an effort to remain sustainable and highlight the unsung beauty we have on our doorstep. These forms, and the techniques I’ve used to create them, are inspired by the Bronze Age jewellery of the Mediterranean.
