Our Artist of the Month for September is Dorset Visual Arts’ Member Ian Middleton.
Ian Middleton is a sculptor working from his studio in Dorset ‘I’m interested in current affairs and the forces which shape our lives. Media images, news clips or junk shop finds might be my starting point, perhaps resonating with something seen or found earlier. I work intuitively, and sculptures evolve through arrangement and juxtaposition in the studio.’
