Vicky Barrett-Webb
Vicky Barrett-Webb has been painting for some years and enjoys using various media including pastel, acrylic and mixed media. She has regularly attended a life drawing group until recently, which she feels has been a good foundation for developing all of her artwork....... Landscapes are her main subject, both large and small as well as still life. She also has fun producing artworks of various animals and birds, which has proved popular at Exhibitions......... Mixed media and collage are another interest using acrylic inks, a prepared textured surface and lots of water spray which often leads to exciting and unexpected results........ Favourite artists include Kurt Jackson, Barbara Rae and John Piper..... Vicky has been a regular contributor to Dorset Art Weeks. She exhibits regularly in Dorset and the Wessex area. She also has artwork in the Loch Torridon Gallery, in the North West Highlands, beside Upper Loch Torridon, Ross-shire, IV22 2EZ Cards are available in a few selected venues in Dorset and Ross-shire.
