On site drawings, in pen, pencil and watercolour with notes about weather, sounds and events are developed into semi abstract paintings in the studio. The work is about mood and atmosphere, it explores underlying structures and the influences at work using colour and tone in a creative and dynamic way.Her interest is in creating an exciting image with a sense of mystery, leaving many questions unanswered for the viewer to ponder. ?Sue teaches small groups in her Ansty studio and is available for demonstrations, tutorials and workshops by appointment.
