Returning to painting Shulla Jaques explores the possibilities of acrylic paint, sometimes combining it with media such as collage, pastels, charcoal, crayons and ink to create semi abstract landscapes working from life and intuitively in the studio. Recently, a renewed interest in shape and form is sparking a new direction towards still life.
