My work is firmly rooted in landscape and the experience of many years spent living on the coast, both Dorset and Cornwall, with the occasional foray into the domestic. I am interested in the way we navigate our environment and interact with 'place' and those we share that space with. Boundaries, pathways, flight paths, enclosures and the visual expanse of the sea as well as the physical 'edge' - the headland, the cliff and the coastal ribbon. I walk and draw regularly in the Purbeck coastline and around Hengistbury Head close to where I live.
