Polly works in porcelain and likes to both throw on the wheel and hand build. She create simple pieces, some of which are organic in shape and nature and uses natural materials like seedheads and sticks to texture the clay. Her pots are both decorative and to be used in everyday life. Polly immerses herself in the process of making allowing her pots to rhythmically evolve and transform . She loves that pottery is a timeless craft working essentially with the earth. Polly also teaches pottery to adults with learning difficulties.
