Mark Pender
Originally from Bath, Mark moved back to the West Country in 2017 after over thirty years working in London. Having retired from his “day job”, he is now pursuing a second career with his art. Mark has been painting for many years and has exhibited with several societies and on his own. His work has found its way as far afield as Australia, Canada, France, South Africa and Letchworth. Mark paints mainly in oils but sometimes in acrylic or other media. Some of his work is whimsical or humorous, often based on fairy tales or fables. He is very happy to take (interesting) commissions, for instance he has produced illustrations for a child’s book and portraits in oil of a friend’s five horses.
