Ceramics and paintings
Graduated in 3D design - Ceramics with Glass back in 1984 from De Montfort University Leicester. Set up my own studio and have been producing artisan ceramics and sculptures ever since. Relocated to the Jurassic Coast and run an open studio and classes in Weymouth. I also work to commission with items featured in "Tom's Table" by Tom Kerridge, and on BBC's The Great British Menu. My work merges the influences of ancient weathered artefacts with the abandonment of tradition as practiced by some of the great innovative American artists who inspire my experimentation. I push the boundaries of the materials I use which include the addition of locally dug Jurassic clay giving some unpredictable and unique results.
