Landscape and floral
I am a mainly self taught artist. Growing up very rurally, i have always fascinated by the contrast, colours, atmosphere of the landscape, flowers and fauna. Initially this resulted me producing vivid, pastel flower pictures, incorporating light and pattern from my own arrangements. Now I have more time, I have been concentrating on my local area and after being introduced to oil paints. I am doing small colourful landscape studies of the local area. I am completly smitten with oils, and its versatility.
