At the early age of 7 I knew I could sculpt, I could see in 3D, but I had to wait until later in life to fulfil my dream of hitting stone. I sold my first oil painting at 16 and went on to try all the mediums I could, but I was a frustrated artist until I saw an advert for a workshop at Tout Quarry on Portland. After 4 days I was hooked, it was just enough time to get a feel for the stone and to learn what tools I needed. Now 20 years on I have 2 sculpture gardens, 2 studios and a small gallery. I also do 'Have-a-Go' workshops, days to suit, at £50 per day. 1st April to the end of September. I would love to share my love of stone with you.
