I am an artist living in Dorset but I have strong connections with the county of Somerset. Most of my career has been taken up with teaching Art in secondary schools but I have also worked as an illustrator. My influences range from Edward Bawden and Frans Masereel to John Nash and Vincent Van Gogh. I split my output between watercolour paintings and more graphic narrative images and occasionally photography.
