James’s creative vocation covers three different disciplines. First as a couture milliner, his hats graced the covers of Vogue and Harpers magazines, his designs were sold in London, Paris and NewYork. James then turned his creativity to photography, as well as books and magazines his works was exhibited in galleries throughout Europe and New York becoming one of London’s most influential photographers, he created many iconic images. James now paints from his studio in Dorset, painting the human form which has been his source of inspiration . James’s mark making is free whilst retaining draughtsmanship, his work embraces time space and motion.
