Jacqueline M Byrne is a contemporary, subject and site responsive artist. Recent exhibited projects include large and small scale installations, drawing pieces, responding to Covid19, and small (off-cut) wooden sculptures made when the artist was exploring the subject of deforestation. Recent works sit alongside 'Lost, a journey through the fragile mind' where the artist sensitively responds to the subject of dementia, inviting the viewer into her interpretation of memory awakening and loss through an immersive, multi media installation. This work has been exhibited in both large scale exterior and smaller gallery installations. Often environmentally inspired Jacqueline frequently uses natural processing methods and materials alongside drawing, sculpting, film & photography to portray her subject. Originally from Ireland, Jacqueline completed a 3 year Masters in Fine Art (UCA) in 2019. She exhibits both locally and more widely, sometimes through her collaboration on projects with artists in both the UK and farther afield in other countries. Jacqueline's work is published in both 2015 and 2016 International Contemporary Artists Book. To get a feel for the scope of this artists practice visit her website: www.jmbyrne.gallery
