I trained at St Martins School of Art in the 60s. Since retiring from book illustration, I've been enjoying the freedom to work in a variety of different media, including egg tempera. My soft pastel floral paintings are mostly intended to be light, decorative and happy. I'm also showing some oil paintings of veteran trees in Dorset. I was fascinated how, over time, the forces of growth and decay can shape the solid matter into forms as tortuous as wirling smoke. I'm planning a little experimentation with making fresco panels, so watch this space...
