Bookbinding and printmaking
Kim & David Squirrell met as studio neighbours in 1997. David - a bookbinder/musician and Kim - a writer /artist threw their lot in together and moved to Dorset in 1998. In 2018 they set up ink & page - Bridport's first makers' - showcasing local makers and artists and producing their own notebooks, block prints, greetings cards and letterpress poetry chapbooks. Autumn 2024 sees a focus on writing with a programme of events and learning opportunities delivered alongside bookbinding and printmaking workshops. Kim and David are committed to promoting and sharing arts and crafts skills and offer tuition and professional development in bookbinding, letterpress and keeping a notebook.
