Carolyn Brettell
Painting is my passion. I love the way the early and late light of the day sends mystical shadows and shapes dancing across the landscape, changing normal scenes into mystical surroundings. I paint large contemporary landscapes in bright acrylic colours. My palette is inspired my looking carefully at the underlying colours and accentuating them. I grew up in Africa and Greece so was surrounded by bright bustling colours.
