An artist run gallery in the heart of Purbeck
The Boilerhouse Gallery is an artist run gallery housed in an old milk factory in Corfe Castle, adjacent to the Steam Railway Station. A wonderful variety of work is on show, with artists always on hand to talk. Take an informal tour around the tranquil grounds, and engage with artists and craftspeople working onsite in their studios. Enjoy the atmosphere of this unusual place with its wild gardens and sculptures dotted about. The artists organise regular 'Arty Bazaars' and occasional 'Arty Parties' with music and food. During events the Gallery hosts a Pop up Cafe located in the old chicken shed by the stream, with outdoor seating in summer next to the wild meadow. A wide variety of popular artist led courses take place onsite throughout the year. The Gallery participates in events such as DAW, Hey Clay and The Big Draw, as well as curating themed group shows.
