Anna Hillman
Drawing, painting and printmaking
I studied at Kingston School of Art in the sixties, completing Intermediate in Art and Design then specialising in Fashion Design. Subsequently I worked both in the Fashion Industry and in Higher Education for the whole of my working life, my last job being the Director of Fashion Studies at Cheltenham College of Art. However, throughout my career I have always taken a great interest in the world of Fine Art, and have a particular affinity with the St Ives Group of Artists. I keep a sketchbook and work mainly from landscape in various mediums, and am particularly interested in methods of drawing and painting. I am also currently working with various print making techniques, including drypoint and linocutting, which I find most absorbing. In the past few years I've exhibited in both Somerset and Dorset art Weeks at the Town Mill Lyme Regis, and more recently at Lyme Bay Arts, Symondsbury.
